In addition to advanced shader post-processing, ENBSeries also implements a memory manager, called ENBoost, that enhances the efficiency of video memory management. This is accomplished by using a custom API in the form of a dynamic link library (DLL) to add to the game shader engine. Then ENBSeries builds upon this using more advanced techniques that the game's shader engine is either incapable of or simply doesn't implement itself. The initial post-processing is done by the game' shader program(s). 4.2 Enhanced Lighting for ENB (Skyrim LE & SE).

For a quick test I've just installed the ENB that Fimbulvinter v3.0 uses (v121212) then overwrote these files with Fimbulvinter v3.0 files and DOF worked fine for me.

ENB DOF is simply activated within the enbseries.ini (in the ENGINE section - EnableDepthOfField=true) and runs from the settings and code within enbeffectprepass.fx. I'm frustrated, as I have been trying to fix this for a few days now. BFloatRenderPoint is 1 (although the game says it isn't, but it is, and I do not think that I have any other copies of the SkyrimPrefs.ini file) and I really don't know what to do. So I have installed the Realvision ENB using the Nexus Mod Manager off of, and I enabled the depth of field options. Running on high settings but i have 2k textures on everything besides shadows, 2x AA 16x anisotropic filtering using an edited HD6 ENB Config with edited Matso's ENB DOF Coding could use some. I have tried a whole different enb (true vision enb) with the same result. Can't get any sort of dof effect to work. I have tried default inis with the relevant parameters changed and also Ewis custom inis. I'm using the latest realvision enb, with series 0.221.
